THE MOUNTAIN ENVIRONMENT
Helicopters and mountains go hand in hand. Vast terrain not accessible any other way creates a unique market for helicopter operators and demands a unique skill set from a pilot. Our mountain course prepares pilots for the commercial mountain environment.
Our base near the Rocky Mountains provides the same environment commercial helicopter companies use for their own training, following the HAC (Helicopter Association of Canada) approved mountain course. Our secondary base in Revelstoke, British Columbia gives you the opportunity to take off directly in the Rockies.
This prepares students for the challenging environment of winds, weather and machine behaviour in mountainous terrain. Instructed by real-world heli-ski proficient pilots, it is the most relevant training available for your next career opportunity.
