Master vertical reference from the ground up. Our entry external load course builds the long line skills that are a necessity in the Canadian commercial utility environment, starting with gear, rigging and safe hook-up before moving to precision placement work.
Foothills Helicopter Training Academy provides training grounded in real utility work — drill moves for mining, fire fighting for Alberta and British Columbia forestry, bird towing and more — giving a unique real-world perspective on external load training.
Once you are proficient at entry level, our Advanced Long Line / External Load course takes you to the HAC advanced standard.
